Skarr Hyparre


Backstory
Head of security of the Anobian facility for XenoArchaeology, Skarre Hyparre has a storied past. A Nelvaanian, Skarre worked hard as a child to take the place of his father who met a grisly fate in an accident in the Snow Fields of Nelvaan. Skarre worked hard to provide for his Clan and eventually became skilled with many melee weapons and very loyal to his clan. Skarre decided that life beyond Nelvaan was required to strengthen and hone his skills and after he left his Clan was killed in a massive avalanche leaving him with nothing to return home to.

Instead, Skarre wandered the galaxy in hopes to put his training and skills as a security force member to use. As chance (or perhaps the Force) would have it, he ended up on Anobis and was recruited as a member of the security force there. Skarre advanced quickly, became a shift leader and then Lieutenant of Security. It was then that he noticed something wasn’t right and setup an elaborate trap discovering the Xenoforgery ring. The success pitted Skarre as the new Chief of Security on Anobis.

Skarre befriended Solandris and the two became close friends. Skarre watched Sol’s back and was loyal to a fault to the new “curator” as Skarre saw it anyways. He followed Sol to Kashyyyk to assist in the safe deliverance of Bowracca and blames himself for the young Wookiees death. Skarr was fortunate enough to find Sol on Ambria and hopes to atone for his “mistakes” that cost the life of the young ally.

Epilogue

It's ironic and fitting that Skarr's first return to Nelvaan would end up being the place of his final resting. He would never ask for a "better" way to die - in the midst of combat and protecting his friends.

When the party returned to Nelvaan, they were quickly attacked by (one has to believe) Black Sun - who were not in the mood to take hostages after their failures on Ambria.

Skarr fought valiently to the end and with the Medical Droid on the other side of the ship already administering Healing to So' Lo' Ta', it could not make the trek across the ship to save Skarr.

Skarr will be sorely missed among the party.
