Re: Pre-Season Results
Confirm the loss.
I had a horrid matchup off the hop and Malak's rage (and a timely 1 by Luke) was the only thing that saved me.
I was happy to take 74 in that match as quite frankly I had no business winning it.
Great game Luke!!

Re: Pre-Season Results
Yobuckiller defeats Fool 103-41 (net 63-36)
Yobuck
Rex
R2
Aurra
Lando
Ugo
Fool
Mando Capt
Mando GS
Jarael
Mando Scout
T3
T3 almost turned the tide but after way too much thinking and smoking (yes I was thinking way too much and now my head hurts) I ended up making a pretty stupid move that gave him T3 to win.
All I had to do was override the door closed but instead I opted to do something....else.
GG Yobuck!

Re: Pre-Season Results
Fool Defeats Obi 115-62.
Net points: 100-52
on Mos Eisley
Fool's Folly
Qui Gon Jedi Trainer
Obi padawan
juhani
2xantarian
youngling
Obikenobi1's
Tyranus, LotDS
Jarael
Whorm
Ugo
Caamasi
Well at the onset I thought I was hooped. Trev had a solid build with Duelist and Juhani. He took right and early on made a bad move (he hadn't played in a long time) that let me kill his ugo and noble that really crippled the activations in my favor.
Then I was able to end the round with Obi and Juhani based to Whorm and move 8 with both to put 40 on the General. Next init he wins and I stupidly take an aoo with Juhani on Tyranus but block his crit. He still manages to kill her (I think I put 20 or 40 on at least).
Obi kills Whorm (which was huge) and I move the youngling away from teh door locking Jarael in the storage building. He moves jarael to open the door at which point I base with both antarians and they both hit. I move Qui-Gon in and push her to get her to 20.
I win the next init and an antarian finishes off Jarael and then Tyranus kills Obi.
I put another 30 on Tyranus and end up finishing him off after he kills my youngling.
Great game Trev!!

Re: Pre-Season Results
Confirmed! Steve played great and I made noob mistakes....*sigh* thats what happens when you don't play for a while.
Fun game and I was glad Tyranus got the kills he did. The Dark lord went out like a true sith!Qui Gon's push proved very valuable all game long, not only landing 20 auto damage on Tyranus, but 10 on Jarael, not to mention debasing my mini's from his. Great game and well played by Steve! I need more practice....

Re: Pre-Season Results
R5Don4 vs Yobuck Killer
100 pts
95 to 58 (Net 63 to 58)
Christophis Intact
R5
47 Luke's Landspeeder
20 Princess Leia
14 General Rieekan
8 Mon Calamari Medic
5 Caamasi Noble
3 Mouse Droid
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(100pts. 7 activations)
YBK
Aurra Sing
Captain Rex
Lando DS
Doombot
Uggie
Landspeeder was a killing and evading machine taking out most of YBK's squad but eventually went down with a missed evade. In the end my support had a very tough time finishing off Aurra and was only saved by her moving into the four square turbo lift only to based by the Noble both immobilizing her and neutralizing her attack.

Re: Pre-Season Results
Obikenobi1 vs. Youbuckiller on Muunlist Square Plaza
Youbuckiller wins 100-42
Youbuckiller's Squad:
Aurra Sing
Lando, Dashing Scoundrel
R2, Astromech droid
Uggie Demom
Captain Rex
Obikenobi1's squad:
E522 Assasin Droid x2
Battle Droid Officer
General Whorm Loathsome
Mouse Droid
Uggie demo
The game started out with my E522 taking out Doombot with a crazy LOS shot. Rex then proceeded to destroy the assasin with a full salvo dealing 80 dmg. The Assasin droid pulled of 3 hits on Rex next round, but got destroyed soon after. General Whorm got a great shot a Rex late in the game for the kill. Aurra was a tank and just couldn't be hit by the Assasin Droid who supposedly had her programed into his processors.... Well he missed a lot, needing 9's. Lando survived a long time with his lucky evade rolls, evading 60 dmg that would have killed him. In the end, the Assasination protocols weren't enough to take down Aurra Sing's 25 def in cover. I got Aurra down to 40 HP at the end and got Lando down to 10 HP. Good game and a fun match!
Edit: we decided not to use gambit in this game

Re: Pre-Season Results
Obikenobi1 vs. Youbuckiller on Muunlist Square Plaza
obikenobi1 defeats youbuckkiller 100-23
obikenobi1's squad:
Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander
Mandalorian Scout
Mandalorian Gunslinger
Mouse Droid
Uggie Demo
Youbuckiller's squad:
Darth Vader, Champion of the Sith
Uggie demo
Mas Ameda
Kel Dor Bounty Hunter x3
The match was sorta unbalanced to begin with, with my shooters all having accurate shot. A Kel Dor destroyed my Mouse Droid right away, and really had me worried, since my squad was spread out. I regrouped my Mando warriors together and Boba took out a Kel Dor. Boba Fett took a lot of damage with the Kel Dor's rerolls always succeding for the extra 10 dmg. A crit by Vader took Boba down to 20 HP. The Mandalorian Gunslinger and Boba Fett landed a bunch of damage on Vader and took him down to 50 HP. the Gunslinger evaded every hit made against him, but a crit by an enraged Mas Ameda with the cunning attack and the subsequent lightsaber slice of Vader ended his career. The Mando scout took revenge and destroyed Mas Ameda. The Mando scout took out Mas Ameda, when Ameda attempted to rush Boba, who had only 20 HP left. Now it is init roll and it is down to my Mando scout and Boba at 20 HP. yobuckiller wins init and grips Boba to bring him down to 10 HP. I decide to do a risky move and GMA my Scout closer to vader to try and finish him off. Two shots latter I roll a 20 and a 16, effectively finishing of Vader who fails the deflect roll. Close game, as Vader proved very hard to kill. Good game by yobuckiller and fun match!
Edit: for this game we decided not to use a gambit zone
